On a DAG Exchange 2010 configuration here is an interesting article that indicate public folder wrong configuration was the main problem, in my case was the correct answer.

On a Exchange server PF was correctly configured with replication, on the other one PF was not well configurated replication, once done that everythings worked better.

The latest buzzword on the technology front is private browsing mode and in todays world where we are increasingly exposed to breaches and invasions of privacy it might sound like something that could be of great interest to you. However before you get too excited, its well worth knowing that even if you are using private mode in Safari, while your privacy will be greatly enhanced, it is not a magic wand that makes you completely invisible.

The basic tenet of Safari private browsing is that it alters the way your browser operates. Private browsing is called different names in different browsers, so depending on what youre using, youll either see Incognito Mode in Google Chrome, InPrivate Browsing in Internet Explorer, and other similar terms in Opera, Mozilla etc.

When you browse the web normally Safari web browser saves your history – i.e. the websites that youve visited, cookies and the data theyve collected from sites you visit, passwords youve saved, and any files you have downloaded.

What this means is that anyone logging on to your computer can simply access your browser and see all of this information. Whats more, they wont need to access your history either. Just by typing a search term into a search engine or a website URL into your address bar, Safari will helpfully bring up the list of sites or keywords that youve previously been looking for. Of course, like most aspects of your computers operating system you could disable some of these tools, but how many of us even think about doing that in advance?

So, as weve seen, if you are using the internet in normal mode your web browser will be storing your search history and any related data and downloads. Switch on private browsing mode and none of this information will be collected – apart from cookies, which will usually be stored while you are online, however these should be deleted as soon as you close the browser.

So far so good, but one thing you do need to be aware of is that when youre using Safaris private browsing mode it will only be activated on the websites that you consciously use it for. If you have three tabs open with a different website open in each, just because you have activated private browsing mode in the first tab, dont think that the remaining two websites will be incognito too as they wont be. For 100% private browsing (as much as it can be said to be private), you have to turn on private mode separately for all of the sites you are looking at.

Other privacy issues with private browsing mode

Okay, so we know that Safari is not able to monitor you when youre online if you have private browsing mode activated but what about other applications? If youre unfortunate enough to have a malware infection – such as spyware or a keylogger – then there is absolutely nothing to stop them from spying on you. Private browsing mode wont stop anyone – from malicious third parties to parents using parental control software to companies that monitor employee web usage - from seeing what you’re up to online.

Another thing you need to be aware of if youre thinking that private browsing has your back is that although your browser will be prevented from saving your history on your PC, that doesnt mean that other parties are subject to the same restrictions. Put simply, it will work for you, but not for other parties.

External computers, routers and servers that are all connected to your computer will still be able to see your activity, IP address and location – no matter whether private mode is on or not. Lets take this as an example: youve turned on private mode and settled down for an enjoyable afternoon spent uploading your vacation pictures to Facebook – while using your employers or schools network. This activity might go undetected by your computer but your usage is still easily accessible on your businesss or institutes routers. Safari Private mode also doesnt conceal your IP address either, so servers will still know your physical location. Thats not to say you cant hide your IP address – you can by using a VPN for example – but private browsing wont do that for you.

Looking at websites of a dubious nature in the comfort and privacy of your own home? Well dont think that private browsing will save you here either as all search requests are still being routed through your Internet Service Provider, eventually ending up on their servers.

Private browsing mode might sound like a dream come true for anyone who wants to hide their searches – for pure reasons or foul, or for those who are hoping their boss or teacher wont notice if theyre slacking off, but its not quite the foolproof safety net many people assume it is. Yes, it can conceal your browsing history from anyone using your computer but that doesnt mean it wont be logged in multiple other places. And if you really want to browse the Internet in anonymity you need a VPN as this will go one step further than private mode and hide your IP address - from everyone. It also encrypts data and traffic meaning that if you really dont want anyone to know which sites you visit, its your only option.

Extend your Windows Mac Desktop to an Android Tablet Phone or to an iPhone iPad

Plugging in a second monitor to extend your computer from one display to two to increase your work efficiency is like an Old sayings now.Everybody knows it and have done it.It costs you extra money to add another display.But today I am going to utilize one of the existing piece of technology at my home and using it as a secondary monitor temporarily and trust me this is going to be more exciting.

Yes I am going to add my Sansung Galaxy Tablet as a secondary display to my Laptop wirelessly.

The Tablet / iPad is an enormously useful little computer but when you’re sitting at your desktop or laptop you can’t easily use it in tandem with the larger computer.Rather than let it be lying unused. when you’re at your main computer, use it to extend your desktop. Whether you’re extending your laptop monitor for an instant second screen at the coffee shop or using it to park your Photoshop palettes while working at your desktop, it could be best for parking IM windows, application interfaces, and other small but useful widgets and gadgets that you’d like to keep an eye on but don’t want to clutter up your main screen with.I have seen engineers, musicians, designers, and artists to use multiple display to increase their productivity.

An engineer needs bigger screen space to perform multiple tasks running at a time in different softwares such as 3D Modeling software like Solid Works, CATIA, and 2d drafting software like AutoCAD and Inventor.Similarly a programmer, designer, artist and a musician also needs bigger screen space to run their multiple software at a time and to keep an eye on all the processes without much time lag.So using a Tablet / iPad or even a Android smart phone with bigger screen could be very helpful for engineers, musicians, designers, and artists.You can use these software to share spreadsheet or slide show in a meeting.Create something and share it with your audience. If youre a teacher, invite your students to join you for a beautiful demo. If youre on a meeting, share that spreadsheet with your partners. If youre having friends at your place, share family vacation photos.

Which Software should I use to extend our Desktop display to an Android phone/ Tablet or an iPad/iPhone?

There are numerous software available to extend your desktop to an iDevice or an Android device.Most of them are paid but some of them are free as well which works perfectly fine.They all have there own compatibility and limitations. Among the paid one the Duet Display, iDisplay, and Air Display are quite famous.But here I would be using the AirScreen free App to extend my display from a Windows PC to an Android device.

Here is the easiest setup of AirScreen to extend the display to your Tablet or Smart Phone

All of these secondary display software comes with a Server and a client. A server needs to be installed on Windows PC or Mac and the client software should be installed on your Android or iOS.They must be running for the display to be extended.

In order for Air Duet Screen to work, your computer and Android device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Like a wireless display, Air Duet Screen works in two ways:

(1) Extend your computer screen onto a second screen, or
(2) Move the special app onto your Android screen.

To Get Started:

1. Download and install free AirScreen Server for Desktop:

3. Now Open AirDuetScreen on your Android Device and Tap on computer you want the display extended from.In the below picture computer 192.168.1.106 is my Laptop so I would just hit on that.

4. And now the Display from the Selected computer will be extended to your Tablet or Android device.

5.Once the display is loaded onto the Android device then you can control the settings from the three dots option button.Tap on three dots and select Input Mode to change the mouse pointer or control the mouse from the Android.

6. When you get the Windows 10 display extended to your Android, you get two different Taskbar and the start menu. The one on your Android opens only on Android and the one on your Windows 10 PC open on PC screen.You can play around with the settings to change the way display is extended.It now gives me extra space to my work folder and some references I need while writing post.You could also try this on your Smart Phone.

When you receive a notification about a possible memory problem, click the notification to choose between two options for when to run the Memory Diagnostics Tool.

Test mix. Choose what type of test you want to run: Basic, Standard, or Extended. The choices are described in the tool.
Cache. Choose the cache setting you want for each test: Default, On, or Off.
Pass count. Type the number of times you want to repeat the test.

3. Press F10 to start the test.
